A provider directory has two operational sides.
Internally, the organization needs to create, update, organize, and maintain provider records.
Externally, users need to find the right provider quickly based on services, location, specialties, and other criteria. CBHN required both.
[02] The existing systems
Provider records and the public directory had different jobs.
The platform combines a custom Laravel backend API with a WordPress directory. Provider records, services, and locations support both internal management and public discovery.

Maintained records needed to reach public search.
Provider onboarding, profile updates, structured data, and public filtering needed to work together, so the directory could use the records managed by the organization.
